July 2026 is not a quiet month. Ji Sung runs for Residents’ Council Chairman with 10 billion won hidden in the building reserves and absolutely no intention of becoming a hero — which is, of course, exactly what happens. Park Eun-bin returns for her second consecutive month with a hotel heiress who sees the dead and a prosecutor who would rather she didn’t. Nam Joo-hyuk and Roh Yoon-seo step inside a haunted Joseon palace that the King himself can’t speak about openly. Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun come back for the Babylon reckoning that Season 1 built toward. Namkoong Min plays a man deciding whether love or competence matters more in a crisis. Hwang In-yeop finally gets the second-chance romance his audience has been waiting to give him since 18 Again. Seven dramas. No quiet weeknights.

The Husband (2026) — Namkoong Min and Lee Seol July 2026 K-Drama on KBS2 Disney+

The Husband
결혼의 완성 · 2026 · KBS2 / Disney+
Cast: Namkoong Min, Lee Seol, Kim Dae-myung, Lee Sang-hee
ThrillerMarriage CrisisHigh Stakes
KBS2Disney+

Kang Tae-ju (Namkoong Min) is a former neurosurgeon turned hospital director — a man who has spent his career understanding exactly how the brain processes threat, and spent his marriage somehow understanding very little else. When his wife Ko Se-yun (Lee Seol) is kidnapped in the hours before their divorce is finalized, the situation becomes specific in the worst possible way: he is both the person best equipped to handle a crisis, and the person with the least obvious reason to care.

The criminal is cunning enough to know exactly which pressure points to apply. Tae-ju has to decide whether he is still the husband who failed her, or something else entirely. Director Kim Jung-hyun, who previously helmed Legal High and At a Distance Spring Is Green, takes Namkoong Min into territory where his charm alone won’t carry him. KBS2 on Saturdays and Sundays from July 4. The kind of thriller that builds its tension in the gaps between what a marriage was and what it still might need to be.

💒 Failed Marriage🔪 Kidnapping Crisis🧠 High-Stakes Thriller

Namkoong Min has built an entire career on playing men who are complicated by design — and director Kim Jung-hyun knows exactly how to use that. A kidnapping thriller anchored inside a failing marriage is a concept with enormous emotional range, and KBS2’s Saturday-Sunday slot has never had quieter menace. The tension starts before the first episode airs.

📅Sat & Sun · Jul 4·KBS2 · Disney+⏳ Coming Soon
Episode Progress? / 12

Namkoong Min in maximum-pressure thriller mode is one of the best things Korean television does — and a kidnapping story wrapped inside a failed marriage gives him emotional material that goes far beyond adrenaline. Two people who stopped choosing each other, forced into the one situation where the choice can’t be avoided. July’s most tightly wound show.

Coming Soon✨ L’s 2026 Comeback

Love In Sync (2026) — Kim Myung-soo L and Kang Min-ah July 2026 K-Drama on Disney+ Viu

Love In Sync
공감세포 · 2026 · Disney+ / VIU
Cast: Kim Myung-soo (L), Kang Min-ah
RomanceFantasyWeb Drama
Disney+VIU

공감세포 — empathy cells, the biological mechanism that makes us feel what others feel. It’s the kind of title that sounds like science and turns out to be entirely about romance. Kim Myung-soo (L of INFINITE) and Kang Min-ah anchor a fantasy romantic comedy built around the idea that genuine emotional resonance is both rarer and stranger than we expect — and that the people who feel it most acutely are often the least prepared for what it costs them.

Six episodes on Saturdays via Disney+ and Viu — compact, contained, and exactly the right length for what this kind of story needs to do. L has been building his dramatic credibility project by project since his debut; Kang Min-ah opposite him is the pairing this format deserves. Full character details are still arriving. The first episode will make the argument the research couldn’t.

💓 Empathy Romance🌀 Fantasy Connection📱 Web Drama Gem

L’s quiet charisma and Kang Min-ah’s natural warmth make for a pairing that deserves more screen time than a six-episode web drama usually gets — which is exactly why you should find this before everyone else does. Saturday evenings in July just found a reason to stay in.

📅Sat · Jul 4·Disney+ · VIU⏳ Coming Soon
Episode Progress? / 6

Six episodes means the story has no room to waste a single scene — which tends to make every scene count. L has been building his dramatic range one project at a time, and Kang Min-ah knows exactly how to meet him in the middle. Worth your Saturdays.

The Apartment Job (2026) — Ji Sung July 2026 K-Drama on JTBC Netflix

The Apartment Job
아파트 · 2026 · JTBC / Netflix
Cast: Ji Sung, Ha Yoon-kyoung, Park Byung-eun, Moon So-ri
HeistComedyCrime Thriller
JTBCNetflix

Park Hae-gang (Ji Sung) is a former gangster, current CEO, and a man with an extremely specific plan: run for Residents’ Council Chairman of a large apartment complex, then quietly extract the 10 billion won he knows is sitting in the building’s reserve funds. The gap between his public campaign persona — responsible neighbor, community advocate, man of the people — and his actual intentions is the engine of the entire show.

Kang Ha-ri (Ha Yoon-kyoung) works secretly at a free legal consultation counter while studying for the bar — she stumbles into Hae-gang’s orbit at exactly the wrong moment and immediately uncovers something far larger than hidden reserves. What begins as a heist gradually, and somewhat against its own will, transforms Hae-gang into the most effective champion this neighborhood has ever had. JTBC and Netflix on Saturdays and Sundays from July 11. Director Jo Yong-won and writer Kim Yoon-young know exactly how hard to lean into the absurdity without losing the stakes.

Vibe →
💰 Heist Gone Right🏢 Apartment Politics😂 Reluctant Hero

Ji Sung in a heist drama that makes him simultaneously the criminal and the hero is the kind of casting decision that takes a familiar premise and gives it a pulse. The last time JTBC and Netflix combined on Saturday-Sunday action-comedy, it ran away with the season. This one has the same energy — and a better floor plan.

📅Sat & Sun · Jul 11·JTBC · Netflix⏳ Coming Soon
Episode Progress? / 12

Ji Sung has never played a character quite like this — and the fact that Park Hae-gang is simultaneously criminal, fraud, and the most effective community champion the building has ever had gives him a range inside one role that most dramas spread across three characters. JTBC’s big summer swing. It’s going to land.

Dream to You (2026) — Hwang In-yeop and Hyeri July 2026 K-Drama on ENA

Dream to You

Cast: Hwang In-yeop, Hyeri
RomanceSecond ChanceHealing
ENAGenie TVVIU

Hwang In-yeop and Hyeri as two people who were once everything to each other — separated, and now navigating whatever comes after the distance. Dream to You doesn’t oversell its premise. It promises warmth, humor, and the particular kind of ache that only second-chance romance can carry: the one where you know exactly what you lost, but you’re no longer the person who lost it.

ENA’s Monday-Tuesday slot has a track record for launching slow-burn romances that quietly become the drama you can’t stop thinking about once they’re over. Hwang In-yeop has been waiting for a lead showcase with this kind of emotional range since 18 Again — and Hyeri brings an entirely different kind of warmth opposite him. Twelve episodes starting July 13. A drama built for the feeling you get when something you thought was finished turns out to just be paused.

Vibe →
💌 Second Chance Love🌸 Warm & Healing😊 Sweet Comedy

Hwang In-yeop and Hyeri as a second-chance couple on ENA is the Monday-Tuesday slot returning to its comfort zone — and doing it with two leads who are both overdue for exactly this kind of showcase. Trust the network. Trust the cast. ENA hasn’t missed with this format in years.

📅Mon & Tue · Jul 13·ENA · Genie TV · VIU⏳ Coming Soon
Episode Progress? / 12

The ENA-to-global pipeline has a strong record, and Hwang In-yeop in a second-chance romance is exactly the kind of project that rewards the patience his audience has brought since 18 Again. Hyeri is a different kind of lead — looser, funnier, harder to read. That contrast is going to carry. Your Monday-Tuesday anchor for the month.

The Crown Prince’s palace is the most guarded place in Joseon. Which makes it the last place anyone would expect the dead to start speaking. Gu Cheon (Nam Joo-hyuk) moves between the living world and the ghost world with a sword that kills what ordinary weapons cannot. Court Lady Saeng Gang (Roh Yoon-seo) hears what no one else in the palace is permitted to acknowledge — and is tolerated for it by exactly no one in power.

When strange and terrifying incidents begin to spread through the palace walls, the King summons them both in secret — which tells you immediately how dangerous the truth at the center of this might be. Dark fantasy historical from Netflix, directed by Choi Jung-gyu. Eight episodes, dropping Fridays from July 17. The kind of show that makes the palace feel like it has always been haunted, and you simply hadn’t noticed until now.

Spooky in Love (2026) — Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong July 2026 K-Drama on tvN Netflix

Cast: Park Eun-bin, Yang Se-jong, Ong Seong-wu, Jo Hye-joo
OccultRomanceGhost Investigation
tvNNetflix

Cheon Yeo-ri (Park Eun-bin) is a wealthy hotel heiress who cannot enter a room without knowing which spirits left their impression in it. It’s not a gift she asked for, and not a curse she can return. It’s the reason she’s spent most of her adult life keeping a careful distance from everyone — and why a prosecutor with nothing left to lose feels, somehow, like the most dangerous person she’s ever been near.

Ma Gang-wook (Yang Se-jong) is the kind of man whose conviction runs hot enough to make bad situations worse before he makes them better. When the murder cases he’s chasing start leading directly to victims only Yeo-ri can see, the partnership is less a choice than an inevitability. Park Eun-bin back on tvN after The WONDERfools, with Yang Se-jong and Ong Seong-wu for company. Saturdays and Sundays on tvN and Netflix from July 18. Your weekend has plans now.

👻 Hotel Haunting⚖️ Justice Prosecutor💘 Unlikely Partners

Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong on tvN is the kind of cast announcement that stops your scroll. Ong Seong-wu in the mix makes it even better.
