SequelCruise Ship HijackFormer Secret AgentAction ComedyFamily Adventure

Six years after the Hawaii airplane hijacking, Mi-yeong (Uhm Jung-hwa) is dealing with an ordinary life that has little glamour in it: a rebellious teenage daughter, Nari, an unemployed husband, Seok-hwan (Park Sung-woong), and a pastry shop in trouble. Then Hyun-min, the flight attendant she met during the hijacking, invites her family to his wedding aboard a luxury cruise ship. Her husband and daughter shrug it off, so Mi-yeong decides to go alone. On the eve of the wedding the celebration turns deadly when armed assailants seize the ship. Seok-hwan and Nari are kidnapped and brought aboard, and Mi-yeong learns she is the target of a much larger plot. The villain is Anya (Sooyoung), the leader of a criminal organization, and with hundreds of passengers trapped at sea, a former legendary agent has to step back into action. Directed by Lee Cheol-ha, this is the sequel to the 2020 hit OK! Madam, moving the setting from a plane to a cruise ship.

✍️ KDramaWorlds Editor’s Take

Our real opinion — worth the watch, and for who exactly.

🎬 Director Lee Cheol-ha Known for: Lee Cheol-ha directs this sequel, which moves the series from an airplane to a cruise ship while keeping its mix of family comedy and action.
🚢 Cruise Ship Hijack🥋 Retired Agent Mom😂 Family Chaos🎬 Sequel Upgrade

The first film put a former agent on a hijacked plane, and the second one simply asks what happens when the same person goes on holiday. A cruise ship is a good sequel setting: a sealed space, hundreds of passengers and nowhere to run, which is the same pressure cooker that made the original work. Anyone who liked the mix of family bickering and action in Confidential Assignment 2: International has a good idea of the tone to expect.

OK! Madam: Bon Voyage (2026) — cinematic still

What stands out on paper is the villain casting. Sooyoung steps into Anya, the head of a criminal organization, which is a change from the roles she is best known for. Fans of Hijack 1971, another hijack story, will find a lighter hand here, because this series keeps its focus on the family and the jokes while the danger keeps rising.

We are holding back a verdict for now. The film’s later plot and ending are not yet confirmed across enough reliable sources, and we only publish those sections once they hold up. For now, treat this page as the setup, the cast and the case for watching.

👍👍👍 BEST FOR 👍👍👍
🚢 Viewers who like hijack stories with a comic streak👨‍👩‍👧 Fans of the first OK! Madam who want the family back together🥋 Anyone after a lighter action film with a strong female lead

⚖️ Final Verdict
What works
•Uhm Jung-hwa and Park Sung-woong back as the central couple
•A cruise-ship setting that raises the stakes of the original
•Sooyoung in a villain role as Anya

What to know first
•The ending and later plot are not yet confirmed, so this page covers the setup only
•It is a sequel, so the first film adds helpful context
•At 109 minutes, expect a brisk action-comedy pace

Anticipation Pick— A familiar family and a bigger stage; our full verdict follows with the story and ending breakdown.
