✍️ KDramaWorlds Editor’s Take

Straight talk — our real opinion, and the viewer it’s made for.

🔍 Opposite Memories 💔 One Perfect Date 🎭 Who Is Lying 🎬 Dr. Romantic Reunion

Two people go on a very good date and then tell the police completely different stories about it. That is the whole hook, and it works because both of them seem sincere. Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin last shared a screen as colleagues in Dr. Romantic, so seeing them as opponents is the draw.

The Perfect Lie (2026) — cinematic still

A polygraph turns the story from a romance into an investigation, and the series will have to decide how long to keep us guessing. If you want to see Seo Hyun-jin in another mystery-tinged lead, Why Her? is already on the site.

Nothing has aired, so this is anticipation, not a verdict. We will add recaps as episodes air on Fridays and Saturdays.

👍👍👍 BEST FOR 👍👍👍

🔍 Viewers who enjoy he-said-she-said mysteries 💑 Anyone who wanted to see Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin together again ⏱️ People who want a thriller that finishes in 12 episodes

⚖️ Final Verdict

What works

•A reunion cast with real history on screen

•A simple, strong hook: one night, two versions

•A tight 12-episode format

What to know first

•Nothing has aired yet, so this is a preview

•Premieres Friday, October 30, 2026 on MBC at 9:50 p.m. KST

•An international streaming platform is not confirmed in the sources we found

Anticipation Pick— A promising thriller; the verdict comes once we know who is lying.
